Sailing Courses in Italy

Taking courses with this school last summer was such a fantastic experience; truly one I will always remember. I jumped into this with perhaps a bit of a specific wishlist: I wanted to learn how to sail, I wanted it to be somewhere warm and beautiful, and I wanted an experienced-but-fun instructor…but I actually got all of these here! I booked with my father and took the Competent Crew and Day Skipper (with one week off between), and it was the most fun we’ve had in years. We had Claudio for our instructor, and he is definitely a character! He taught us more than just sailing – his love of the region is infectious, and each of these islands now has a special place in my heart.

I took the course “Yacht Master Prep.” with Med Sailing, I passed the exam with much more knowledge, I can only recommend them.

Took the Competent Crew and Day Skipper courses and can only recommend Med Sailing to everyone who considers taking sailing courses. Claudio is a great instructor, who really knows how to teach people. How to sail. I learned a lot and now feel comfortable to charter a boat on my own. The sailing area around the Pontine Islands is beautiful and perfect for learning.

Claudio is a skilled instructor and sailor. Bilingual and with good communication skills. The crew (1 day skipper and 3 competent crew) felt very safe throughout. The base is well located and the islands are wonderful to explore. Everyone mucked in and displayed varying levels of skill, and developed rapidly. We had a great experience with Med Sailing RYA and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, in fact I plan to do my day skipper license with Claudio. Ciao e grazie!!!
